Croping an image helps by cutting the unwanted parts of the picture and having only the part only the main part of the picture.

Flattening an image is used to change the size of the picture.

    Flattening an image is squashing all the layers into one layer.. the background.. Kelvin don't ever forget your jacket..too cold.
